From your very first visit to our practice, we can assist you with the most important aspects of the therapy you need, offering continuous advice and support as well as individual programmes for you to follow at home. The following pages outline key information on our practice and therapies.

During the inital consultation the Physiotherapist will take a detailed history of your condition and undertake a physical assessment to determine your diagnosis and treatment plan.

The initial consultation will take 45 minutes. Follow up treatment appointments will last 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on your condition.

Your first appointment: what should I bring with me?

It's best to bring casual, comfortable sportswear. If you have a referral letter from your doctor for the physiotherapeutic treatment, you should bring this along as well as any relevant X-rays or scans.

If you are using medical insurance to pay for your treatment please bring with you your membership details and treatment authorisation codes which will be given to you by your medical insurance provider.

If you are self paying please be aware payment will be required at the end of each appointment. Accepted methods of payment for self paying patients are cash or cheque.

If you are using medical insurance to pay for your treatment please bring with you your membership details and treatment authorisation codes which will be given to you by your medical insurance provider.

Appointments with individual therapists can be made to suit your schedule. Please leave enough time to prepare for the session.

CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENTS

The clinic requires 24 hour notice of any cancellations.

Failure to contact the clinic with 24 hours notice will result in a standard charge of 50% of the appointment cost.

A failure to attend an appointment with no prior notice will result in a standard charge of the full cost of the appointment.
